Quality and food safety, a requirement at the heart of our business
The food safety of our products represents an essential prerequisite to our business. Since the beginning, we have designed and sold amino acids that are similar to molecules from living things, in accordance with regulations. This objective is supported by an integrated management system (IMS), recognized by international certification authorities.
Why focus on food safety and quality?
The purpose of our products and solutions is to improve the performance of the animal industry. First of all, they concern feed manufacturers, but also farmers and agrifood distribution professionals, as well as consumers. For them, we are committed to producing quality food products, the first link in irreproachable food hygiene and safety. Our amino acids stringently fulfill the criteria of European standards regarding food safety.
Our quality integrated management system (IMS)
Our integrated management system (IMS) falls under our overall management policy for safety, environmental protection and quality and food safety. In order to guarantee rigorous monitoring at all levels of the company and production, in 2004, we set up an IMS integrating quality and food safety aspects.
Our IMS is recognized by demanding international certifications, issued by the certifying body DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV): ISO 9001, FAMI-QS, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001.
Quality: a collective requirement
All of our colleagues are aware of this overall quality process. Relevant to every profession in the company, this process encourages us to continually improve on a daily basis.
A steering committee, formed by the company’s various executives, guarantees proper coordination with this IMS. Work groups, awareness campaigns and reviews of the implemented processes are regularly organized in order to guarantee the success of our quality process. The results speak for themselves!
